The Speaking Center

Students at the University of Illinois have access to free, personalized presentation and public speaking support through the Speaking Center. The Speaking Center offers individual consultations for any student at any stage in the preparation process, including brainstorming ideas or topics, developing outlines and content, designing visual aids, practicing delivery, and more. Additionally, students can attend workshops focused on general speaking and presenting skills. The Writing Center

The Writers Workshop provides free support to all writers in the campus community across all forms of academic and professional writing, at any stage of the writing process. They offer writing groups, writing-related presentations, and writing consultations where they provide feedback on essays, research papers, personal statements, cover letters, theses and dissertations, manuscripts for publication, presentations, digital compositions, and anything between and beyond.
